 Yellow Sapphire represents planet Jupiter (Guru). The most auspicious and beneficial stones out of all the Navaratnas (nine gems) Jupiter is the planet of wisdom and fortune. Known by different names in Sanskrit as Pusharaag, Kannaka pushparaag, Peetmani, Pukharaj etc.….It gives the good health, wisdom, prosperity, financial gain, longevity, and name, honour and fame.

Wearing a yellow sapphire embarks upon changing ones bad time to good times, helps in better clarity, focus and therefore better decision making ability.

 The yellow sapphire stone is related to the benevolent planet Jupiter and Jupiter represent the Day Thursday. Hence, this stone should be worn on Thursday morning during (Shukla Paksha) (waxing Moon) on the index finger working hand. The gem is associated with metal gold.

Emerald (Panna) Lord Mercury – The Ruler of this gemstone. According to astrology generally blue sapphire should be worn in Middle finger of right hand and set in gold.
